Dock-Well prevents the sudden dock line snapping action from a fixed dock line rope, preventing damage to the dock line and tear out of the cleat on the boat or the anchor point on the dock.

How It Works

Dock-Well is a dock line and insert that is fixed to a dock.

 

The Dock-Well insert is an anti-frictional rope guidance device that inserts onto the dock.

 

The top of the dock line attaches to a boat through cleats. The middle of the rope passes through the Dock-Well insert, and dangles beneath a dock. The base of the rope underneath the dock is attached to a weight.

 

This system keeps the rope in tension, allowing the Dock-Well to gently pull your boat into its place next to your dock.

The Dock-Well Kit

A Dock-Well kit has all of the supplies and tools you need to quickly and easily set up your Dock-Well. We do not provide a power drill or a weight.

 

A standard Dock-Well Kit includes:

  • 2 Dock-Well inserts

  • 2 Dock lines (1/2" thick, 15' long)

  • 1 1-3⁄4” hole saw

  • 1 Hole saw stabilizer bit with arbor

  • 1 Pilot drill bit

  • 6 Torx screws

  • 1 Torx T30 bit
